Request a Winlsow Wonderland Cut Out
The Tyngsborough Recreation Committee invites you to participate in the Snowman & Tree Contest to create "Winslow Wonderland" on the town common. This contest is open to businesses, organizations, and families who wish to showcase their creativity with unique wooden snowmen and trees.
How It Works:
Pickup: Obtain a 4ft or 8ft wooden snowman and/or tree from the Recreation Department once your application has been submitted.
Decoration: Use your imagination to paint, decorate, and embellish your chosen snowman or tree into a piece of artwork.
Setup: All decorated snowmen and trees must be set up on the common along Winslow Road by November 12 by 5:30 PM. Return the cutout to the gazebo at Old Town Hall no later than 11/12. Be sure to include your entry’s title.
Community Viewing: Starting November 24 at 5:00 PM, the community can visit "Winslow Wonderland" for leisurely strolls and photo opportunities amidst the winter-themed displays.
Voting: From November 24 to December 3, the public can vote for their favorite snowmen and trees by liking photos posted on our Facebook page (@TyngsboroughRec).
Categories & Prizes: The entries with the highest number of likes in each category will win. Categories include:
Best Traditional tree or snowman
Most Creative tree or snowman
Best of Show tree or snowman
Best of Show Children’s entry (under 12) tree or snowman
Eight winners will each receive a $25 gift card.
Winners will be announced on December 13. The snowmen and trees will remain on display throughout December and January, creating a festive atmosphere for all to enjoy.Registration Closed
